How Sweet It Is!!
The very first month of our fundraiser has seen over 2,000 candy bars go out to support Kennels of Levi and we are just starting!!
Our chocolate is of the finest quality and is very comparable to Sees chocolate of the West Coast. We offer milk chocolate almond, pretzel, butter caramel, rice crispy and dark chocolate almond. We sell them for $1.00 each - 5 for $5.00 - 10 for $10.00 and a case of 40 of $40.00. Be a sweetheart and buy a case for your friends and support Kennels of Levi!
There is energy to be found in a chocolate bar and with the sales of chocolate we are bringing the power on to begin the building for the Kennels of Levi - the work order with the power company is in and the electrical poles ordered.
Things are moving forward and for every dollar that comes in we move closer to the program getting started.
Good news will be forth coming in our May issue along with new photos - be sure to come back and run with the dogs!!

Truck Load of Kennel News For March
The loggers have completed clearing the site for the future home of the Kennels of Levi!!
With the cold winter months came the roar of semi trailers along with logging machinery over the frozen ground to carve the roads and building sites on 113 acres.
We welcome spring with the arrival of volunteers from around the country to clear the areas and begin the handicap accessible trails on the land around the dog training facilities. The goal is to start building our first structure during the summer months.
Be sure to follow the progress in the days ahead!

Thanksgiving Edition
The loggers could not come onto the property due to the delay from so much rain (thanks to Hurricane Irene causing massive flooding through out Vermont) We regret that we could not have the building site cleared during the fall. But once the ground freezes this winter the big machines will be active in clearing white pines, red pines and hardwood for the site of the building for the Kennels of Levi Training Center.
There is much excitement as we work closely with Bob Minnich and Bob Grigg in drawing the building plans for the kennels - we hope to have the architect drawings for your viewing soon on our website.
The month of October brought many friends with their support to the Kennels of Levi. We appreciated Marcia and her mother driving in from Michigan. They brought a three gallon plastic laundry pail filled with pennies for our Pennies for Puppies project as well as a $100 check designated to the Kennels. We thank Bob as well for traveling the three hours from the Berkshires in MA to bring two coffee cans filleds with dimes, nickels, and quarters..over $200! We would like to recogize those who supported the Pennies for Puppies locally, as well. Our local pet store Lebanon Pet and Aquarium has stood with us all summer and collected $50 in one can, emptied it and started over, as well as requesting another can for their Claremont, NH store. Tozier's, in Bethel, VT, collected $47 in pennies, nickels, and quarters in spite of the devastation and road washouts that still haunt the area from Hurricane Irene. We have just placed the Pennies for Puppies canisters in new stores and the project as a whole is generating much interest and support in various ways. Folks, those pennies really do add up!!! If you would like a can to place in a public place in your area, please email us at speaks2sue@yahoo.com It's a great way to collect for a great cause without creating pain in anyone's pocketbook!
As we approach the month of November, we are thankful for all that has been accomplished at the Kennels of Levi this summer. We are thankful for each of you for the interest that you have shown and the support that you have given. We wish each of you a very blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Please remember, no turkey bones for your favorite pup! ~ Sue Thomas
